Shelley M. Zeiger is a Holocaust survivor, an entrepreneur, a father and a grandfather. His life experiences have shaped his journeys and have led him to become a successful, well-connected businessman.
Shelley has dedicated his life to sharing his story as well as building cultural and economic partnerships between the United States and other countries, especially Russia, the country responsible for his freedom. For his efforts, two New Jersey governors, Thomas H. Kean and Jim Florio, have dubbed Shelley the unofficial Ambassador to the Soviet Union.
When he travels, Shelley leaves his footprint behind. For example, at the height of the Cold War, he introduced pizza and customer service to Russia. It was Yuri Dubinin, the Soviet Ambassador to the U.S., who said, “We need more Shelleys running around in Pizza trucks rather than missiles.”
